Requirements - Meet health requirements - Be a genuine visitor - Meet character requirements - Proof that you have enough money to support yourself - Meet other criteria ### Tourist Stream (apply outside Australia) Visit Australia as a tourist, to visit family and friends or to go on a cruise trip. Requirements - Meet health requirements - Be a genuine visitor - Meet character requirements - Proof that you have enough money to support yourself ### Sponsored Family Stream Sponsor your family members to visit you in Australia and stay up to 12 months. Requirements - Meet health requirements - Be a genuine visitor - Meet character requirements - Proof that you have enough money to support yourself - Have a sponsor ### Business Visitor Stream This visa allows you to visit Australia for the purpose of doing business for a duration up to 3 months. Requirements - Meet health requirements - Be a genuine visitor - Meet character requirements - Proof that you have enough money to support yourself - Perform business visitor activities ### Approved Destination Status Stream This visa stream is for citizens from certain areas of China visiting Australia on a tour organised by an approved travel agent. It will allow eligible Chinese nationals to apply for their visa through a travel agent, rather than using the more standard channels, and can be used more than once. Requirements - Meet health requirements - Be a genuine visitor - Meet character requirements ### Frequent Traveller Stream The Frequent Traveller visa stream is for citizens of the People’s Republic of China who frequently travel to Australia for private or business reasons. Applicants must not be employed in Australia and must apply for a subclass 600 temporary graduate visa if they want to undertake an approved course after arrival.
