- Must have been nominated for this visa by an Australian state or territory government agency.
- Be able to score 65 points or more

Eligibility Criteria to apply for a Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491):
- Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI)
- You must be either nominated by an Australian state or territory government agency or indicate that you will be sponsored by an eligible relative.
- Be able to score 65 points or more
- Have a suitable skills assessment
