This visa option is suitable for those pursuing to take workplace-based occupational training for professional development to improve their skills for a job.
Requirements
- Have an approved sponsor
- Be 18 years old or older
- Your sponsor must have nominated you to participate in a program of occupational training, unless your sponsor is an Australian Commonwealth Government agency
- Must have a functional level of English
- Have paid back your debt to the Australian Government
- Not have had a visa cancelled or a previous application refused
- Be a genuine temporary entrant
- Have adequate health insurance
- Meet health requirement
- Meet character requirement
